Spinach & Tuna Pasta Salad

I know what you’re thinking…tuna? gross… Well this recipe can be substituted with any type of protein! It is more of a salad than a pasta anyway, so that’s why we chose tuna! It also provide a lot of protein and nutritional benefits. So let’s get started!

 

Ingredients:

-2 handfuls of spinach

-1 tomato

-1 avocado

-1 lemon

-1/2 box of pasta

-1 package of chuck light tuna

-olive oil & balsamic vinegar

-salt, pepper, or Italian seasonings

Directions:

You should start by getting a pot big enough for half the box of pasta and get the water boiling.

Then prep your ingredients in a large mixing/serving bowl.

Once the water is boiling, add your pasta and prepare the rest of your ingredients.

Then, when all of your ingredients are in the mixing bowl, add a drizzle of both the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. You can also add your seasonings now and make sure to mix well.

Once your pasta is cooked, according to the directions on the box, strain and add it to your mixing bowl. Add lemon juice and any more flavors or seasonings to your liking. Mix well and serve!
