Dr. Al Ahmad is licensed in Acupuncture by the Texas board of Acupuncture Examiners and State of Washington, Department of Health. 

He has earned his Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Certificate in Herbology from Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Seattle, Washington. The National Certification Commission has nationally certified him for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

He also has Western Medical Degree and Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He has studied at Southwestern Medical Center, University of Texas, Dallas and Bastyr University of Natural Medicine, Seattle, Washington.

Dr. Al Ahmad has received intensive and extensive training in Yoga, Ayurveda and Massage Therapy at Katmandu, Nepal. He has received teacher's training certificate in Yoga from Harriman Institute of Yoga in California.
